Some PDF files do not open properly from within a Web browser (reporting "Object label badly formatted"). Adobe describes this as a web server problem. One option is to download them to your hard disk (right-click on the link and chose "Save target as ..."). After downloading, double-click on the file to open it directly with Acrobat Reader (i.e. not from within your browser).
Sony New Zealand offers manuals by email (for recent New Zealand models only). Naturally we would be delighted to receive copies of ones we're missing!
Sony's manuals website offers PDF manuals for most of their exported equipment.
A Sony (Europe?) manuals website offers PDF manuals for a good deal of their equipment available in Europe.
